Di seguito un breve abstract degli argomenti che si andranno ad approfindire:
“The recent detection of prebiotic molecules in the coma of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko has provided additional evidence for the key role that comets may have had in the development of life on Earth. The consequent deep interest in the cosmic chemistry of P-bearing molecules is due to their key role in the biochemistry of known living organisms. Phosphorous, when bound to oxygen atoms, such as in phosphate esters (P3+), is fundamental for the implementation of the sugar-phosphates bridge of RNA and DNA helix structures but seems rare in the cometary environment where on the contrary the Silicium is well present. We plan to demonstrate the possible origin of P-O molecules in the cometary Silicates in the interaction between Silicon Nuclei and Neutrons and Deuterons of the space radiation (30Si + n → 31Si → (β-) 31P) or 30Si + 2D → 31Si + 1H→ (β-) 31P+ 1H) at the CN accelerator of the Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro (INFN).”
