Zoology Laboratory

The Zoology Laboratory works in strict synergy with the Environmetrics Laboratory. The Zoology Laboratory is mainly devoted to collect field data on vertebrate ecology, while the Environmetrics Laboratory is mainly addressed to ecological and spatial modelling. The Zoology lab is equipped to run camera trapping, radiotelemetry, small mammal live trapping, otter surveys, and small mammal surveys through analysis of owl pellets, nest boxes and hair tubes. The Lab is also involved in the development of an online georeferenced database of the samples stored in the Zoological collection.
