The aim of the master is to prepare professionals with integrated skills in the areas of tourism and cultural heritage management. Graduates in Tourism and Cultural Heritage are expected to be experts in the development and valorisation of tangible and intangible heritage, with high-quality skills in the areas of organization and management of integrated tourism systems. Students are asked to combine theoretical approaches with methods and practices related to the enhancement of cultural systems through actions aimed at sustainable tourism, both in public and private organizations, at different territorial levels. The master’s international network is worldwide. It received the world-famous certification of Tourism Education Quality (TedQual) issued by the THEMIS Foundation for the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

The specific learning objectives include the acquisition of the fundamentals of spatial and economic planning policies and strategies, the promotion and management of cultural tourism products, the use of new media technologies for travel narratives. The curriculum embraces activities aimed at acquiring advanced knowledge in several fields of humanities and social sciences, taught within a coherent framework for multi-disciplinary practices. Specific courses are dedicated to the study of the English language and information technology. A particular attention is paid to job experiences so that training activities are provided both in public and private organizations. The master is connected with several European universities so that each year students and teachers from abroad choose Termoli as the base for their Erasmus experience.
